He’s Eric (or Earl) and she’s Grace (or Gray). He’s mellow, secretly hilarious, charming and a bit (…a lot) of a keener. She’s loopy, energetic, loud and slightly awkward. Steep the two, make a brew and you get EarlGray Images – a full bodied cup of distinctive flavour; infused with a kiss of sweet, a dash of bold, and a depth of insight that finishes as refreshing, yet reminiscent of good times. And now in first person (because third person is just weird) . . .
We are a husband and wife photography team based in Edmonton, Alberta, specializing in family and wedding photography, who strives to capture the essence of your moments with an organic and authentic style. The camera is an extension of who we are: storytellers who use crafted images as our medium. Documenting life’s moments, significant or seemingly mundane, bring us joy and fulfillment. There are few things in life that excite us like creating photographs – stills of a moment which capture the very feelings, expressions, and mood of a single moment in time.

We like to document it like it is. In every session, we aim to capture the authentic personalities and expressions of the moment with a splash of creativity and insight. You don’t like to be in photos? No worries – we’ll make it easy and fun!
We are all in house! Eric and Grace typically photograph together for weddings and engagement sessions. Grace photographs portrait and documentary sessions.
We have professional cameras and an array of professional lenses, flashes, light stands, and even an emergency bag with bug spray, pins, allergy medication, tweezers, tide-to-go and more! And yes, we always carry a backup camera along with us! (and we are insured!)
For portrait and documentary sessions, we ask for $100 as a retainer and a signed contract for booking. The remainder is due on arrival for your session. For weddings we ask for a $1000 retainer fee with a signed contract to book your date. The remainder is due 21 days before the wedding date. Retainer fees are non-refundable.
We know the “I can’t wait!” feeling of getting to see your photos. In fact, we get excited to show you! That is why we aim to have your photos within 4-6 weeks for weddings (most of the time a lot sooner) and about a week for portrait sessions.
For portrait sessions, we typically capture around 30 images. For wedding and documentary sessions, we typically capture 50-75 photos per hour.
Yes. We love traveling. It is one of the things that make us tick! We would love to work with you to capture your story outside of Edmonton. Travel fees apply, contact us for more details.
We believe it is SO important to have physical manifestations of your photos. Think prints, albums, wall art. Something to look at to re-live the beauty of the past. This is why we offer professional products which are colour calibrated and are of heirloom quality.

We will be there to help from the planning process to capturing the special moments of your wedding day to guiding you to decide on how you want to display your images – perhaps in a luxury album or as wall art! Families | Maternity | Couples | Engagements In our portrait sessions, we will photograph a mixture of naturally posed and candid expressions in a variety of settings. The photos will be delivered via an online gallery where you can conveniently download the images.
